Proclaiming Freedom
As someone who spent most of her life struggling to fit in, Charleen is living proof that God is still in the miracle-working business. She is passionate about telling others how God changed her life and gave her stability in a life filled with confusion. Char is bold in her faith, but without Him, she is afraid of the dark, enclosed spaces, and not being enough. Let’s face it. She wouldn’t last five minutes without Him. Char is just an ordinary girl. But she serves an extraordinary God. She is eager to share what God can do with our feeble efforts when He adds His power to them.
As a scribbler from way back, the author dreamed about writing a book one day. But she was told it would be a waste of time, and no one would buy it, as it turned out, two decades later. It was the path she was meant to be on. Her desire to pour into her grandchildren’s lives was the main drive motivating her to write. With the world structure shifting like wildfire, Charleen set her heart on conveying the truth of God’s Word in a clear and straightforward way that would leave a legacy that would long outlive her. Char does not measure success by sales, but by the fulfillment she feels in knowing she is making a difference. When someone’s life is changed for the better, she feels good about that.
Char lives with her husband, Stan, who still runs 5k’s in his eighties? She gets giddy for no reason at all when she looks at him, especially if there’s kissing. She also has a fur baby, Nugget, who goes ballistic every time it storms. She enjoys quiet times, meditation, and Rocky Road ice cream. She also has an unhealthy obsession with Free Cell.
